Moudouken is is very rare dojutsu, which has been see rarely in anyone. It is said to be one of the most powerful dojutsus, almost rivaling the Rinnegan. It is also said to show up in a powerful person who is supposed to destroy the world. There are only two people in the entire history of the shinobi to have been known to possess this eye, Kyo Kagomi, the leader of the Daichiran, his son Kouki Kagomi, and The Sage of Six Paths's rival. Due to the rarity of this dojutsu, it is believed to be a myth, and thus the story of the Moudouken user Kyo has traveled across the lands, the man becoming a myth himself in the process. Some have been told that the Moudouken user is a giant beast bent on destroying the world, while others believe Moudouken corrupts the user.
The Moudouken is a dojutsu that evolves over time and grants the possessor great power, but at great cost. There are six stages of the Moudouken, each stage harder to achieve. Kyo has only reached the fifth stage, the four star Moudouken. The process of evolving the eyes has been saved only partially from the cataclysmic destruction that caused the regression of society back to volatile and fragmented villages. The scrolls regarding the Moudouken are partially burned and in an ancient language that few know.
The only one in the world who know the details of the scroll, meaning any information other than the story that the user will destroy the world, is Kyo Kagome, as he burned the scrolls after the only one before him who knew the contents of the scrolls died.
Abilities: Before the user manages to unlock the Moudouken, the user exhibits heightened sense of sight, and if there is more than one user, they can see into the other's mind. This bond has never been noticed, as there has never been two Moudouken users.
No Star Moudouken
This is the way the eye looks when one has yet to train their eyes to earn any stars. It is very simple and looks like one simply has really dark eyes. The abilities of a No Starred Moudouken eye is limited to a close to 360º field vision and the ability to see the chakra channels within a person. These eyes can also allow the user to see in the dark.
To unlock the no star Moudouken, the user must push themselves to the limit to the point their body shuts off, and activates the eyes, as all brain function is turned to turning off the body, none is set aside to stop the dangerous ability from emerging. Once accessed for the first time, the Moudouken can easily be accessed again.
One Star Moudouken
The first star grants the possessor of the One Starred Moudouken not only the abilities of the No Starred Moudouken, but also the ability to copy any non-kekkei genkai jutsu as long as it is the Chakra Nature of the possessor.
To earn the first star in the Moudouken, the user must truly die and be brought back to life. A difficult feat to achieve, though not impossible, as reviving a person who just died can occur.
Two Star Moudouken
When one possesses the Two Starred Moudouken they have the powers of the One Starred and the No Starred Moudouken as well as the ability to contact the Bjuus even when sealed inside of someone, even from far, far distances.
To earn the second star in their eye, one must kill another human in cold blood. The first steps in evolving a Moudouken involved harming oneself, but earning the second star involves damaging one's soul.
Three Star Moudouken
This star grants the user the ability to use jutsus such as Amaterasu and Kamui. However, each use of these techniques causes worsening symptoms of the effects of using Moudouken, as well as complete exhaustion.
To unlock the third star of Moudouken, one must lose someone they love. Further harming their soul, the sight of someone dying who they love releases the third star of Moudouken.
Four Star Moudouken
The fourth star grants the user foresight. This foresight is, at first, uncontrollable, and does not always happen as the eyes show. Triggered by the sight of something or someone who would play a big part in possible future events, the three star moudouken can become a distraction in battle, as when visions happen, the user is distracted and blind to the events truly going on around them. As time goes on, one may learn to control this visions.
To unlock the fourth star of Moudouken, one must further damage themselves by killing someone who they love. One can skip the three star Moudouken if they end up killing their loved one when they have two stars.
Five Star Moudouken
The fifth star is the hardest one to earn. One must see their best friend and worst enemy die before their eyes while Moudouken is active, after they earned the fourth star, or the fifth star becomes unreachable, as well as train their eyes so they are at the peak of fitness. The Fifth Star grants the possessor great power and the power to use almost every ability that any other dojutsu, or even kekkei genkai and chakra nature, that they have ever viewed.
When one earns the fifth star in their eye, the effects of the Moudouken take hold of the user and there is no turning back. It is said that if one sees a eye with five stars, meaning the Five Starred Moudouken, it kills them on the spot.
Weaknesses: The use of Moudouken does not come without costs. The more one uses Moudouken, the more every other sense is dulled some. Every nerve in one's body is affected and the sense dull. The stronger a sense is, the slower it seems to dull. As soon as each sense besides sight is non-existant, the use of Moudouken will begin to weaken the user, and cause the user to be fatigued easier than normal. Eventually if one uses the Moudouken too much, after many years, they may even die from using this power, and the effects that evolving the eye has on the user. Body and soul have both died, there is no other senses, there is only the Moudouken.
