The Rules

Out of Character

Respect everyone. There will be those of all different levels, accept each other, and be nice and courteous.
1. If you have a problem with a member, please contact staff about the issues, and we will try to resolve the situation as fast as possible.
If you have any questions or issues, please contact a staff member and we will try to fix and answer anything as fast as possible.

Characters

Characters should be at the level as others of the same rank. A genin, for example, shouldn't be able to use S rank jutsus. Everyone can be defeated, even if they happen to be a kage.
1. There may be very special cases made, but one must make a good argument. If the staff does not believe that it is a good argument, please accept that judgement.
2. This also means no perfect fighting. That means not dodging every attack if in battle, or always landing a hit. Again, special cases may be made if one has a special jutsu, but one will always have a chance to beat the jutsu. Cases like Pein or Minato level jutsus, which all had their way of being hit or defeated.
No perfect characters. While Rule I may seem like this rule, this one is referring to your character's personality not power level (though power level cannot be perfect either). This means that not everyone will like them, no one is perfect.
Canon kekkei genkai are available, including Sharigan. However, those are restricted to the families which they were restricted to in canon.
1. Due to being set in the far future, the Uchiha clan as been reestablished in Konoha. However, if too many of one family or kekkei genkai (which are usually unique) then a restriction may be placed on them.
2. Original Kekkei Genkai, as with original jutsus, must be applied for and accepted before used or even mentioned in RP.
3. If wanting to play a Uchiha or Hyuga or other canon clan, please keep the history open to others to join in the family. Share the clan.
Every character must have an anime face claim from somewhere, whether a manga, show, game or other medium. However, the face claim must have an established name.

Profile

Make sure to fill out all of the applicable blanks at the bottom of the Personal tab.
1. For Plotter, Application, and Want Ad place the link to the thread for each corresponding blank.
2. In Hover Image, place the link of a 220x350 image of your character to serve as the large image in your profile.
3. In Rank, place your character's rank, genin, chunin, jounin, etc. or occupation.
4. In Alias, place the name which you will use in the chat in the blank.
Make sure you use a 150x150 image as your avatar, preferably of your character.
Please change your display name to your character's name before you start RP'ing.
When you are on your profile page there is an option for personal text. This will show up on your mini-profile. While not required, one can place a statement that relates to their character, whether about them or something they would say.

Role Play

There is no word count! All levels of RP'ers is accepted. However, please avoid replies of one line, and attempt to match or exceed the post before yours.
In fighting, as of right now, we will have a fairly loose battle system. Basically, the RP will flow naturally through posts.
1. Please do not abuse this, as staff will be watching, and can get involved to either stop the fight, or override a dodge or a hit.
2. To reiterate a previous rule, someone will probably not dodge every attack that is sent their way.
3. Do not state if your attack lands. Allow the other player to decide that.
4. If you believe that a player is being unfair in a fight, please contact a staff, as with RP Rule (II. i.), staff can intervene if things begin to get out of hand.
5. Everyone loses eventually, its okay to lose.
6. Death matches will be extremely restricted, and allowed if a staff is notified and all parties agree to it. Staff will monitor the battle extremely closely to continue to ensure fairness, especially in such an important fight.
God modding and power playing is not allowed. This means no controlling another character.
1. If one uses a jutsu that is to control another, please allow the other to either follow the directions or somehow fight the control. If it is up for debate whether they can break control or not based on their power level, then ask a staff member.
Rating. As per the Proboards TOS, we are a PG-13 site. Anything above this rating is restricted. Blackouts can be your friend.
1. This rating regarding language means avoiding curse words every other word. Limit the cursing, though cursing is allowed.
2. The rating regarding violence means that excessive description of gore is restricted, though description of injuries is allowed, just don't go overboard.
3. This rating regarding sex means nothing explicit. Vagueness is key here if not a black out.
